Say Right (Honest) And Don't Lie (Liar)

Al-Ustadz Yazid bin Abdul Qadir Jawas

From ‘Abdullah ibn Mas'ûd Radhiyallahu anhu, he said:" Rasllamullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, lah Let you always be honest, because honesty brings goodness, and kindness leads someone to Heaven. And if a person is always honest and still chooses to be honest, then Allah will be noted as an honest person. And stay away from you lying, because lies bring a person to evil, and evil leads someone to Hell. And if someone always lies and chooses lies, it will be noted on Allah's side as a liar (liar). '

TAKHRIJ HADITS
This hadith is narrated by Ahmad (I / 384); al-Bukhari (no. 6094) and in the book al-Adabul Mufrad (no. 386); Muslim (no. 2607 (105)); Abu Dawud (no. 4989); At-Tirmidhi (no. 1971); Ibn Abi Syaibah in al-Mushannaf (VIII / 424-425, no. 25991); Ibn Hibban (no. 272-273-at-Ta’lîqâtul Hisân); Al-Baihaqi (X / 196); Al-Baghawi (no. 3574); At-Tirmidzi said, "This hadith is hahih saheeh."

MUFRADAT HADITS
In accordance with words and deeds (deeds), birth and mind.
Bring, mean to guide and deliver.
Goodness, meaning includes all goodness.
Heading, searching. The point is to seriously seek and choose.
Lies, lies, not true.
Always be honest, so honestly become morals and temperament.
Evil or ugliness. That means bad or bad deeds.
Always do lies, so lies become morals and temperament.
He has the right to obtain an honest title and the reward of honest people.
He has the right to obtain the title of lies and rewards of lies, namely he is nicknamed a lie maker or a liar.

SYARAH HADITS
• Word of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam:

عَلَيْكُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ ، فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِيْ إِلَى الْبِرِّ ، وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِيْ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ

You should always be honest, because honesty brings goodness, and kindness leads someone to Heaven

In this hadith the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam ordered his people to be honest in words, deeds, worship and in all cases. Honest that means aligning between birth and mind, words and deeds, and between news and facts.

That is, let you continue to be honest. Because if you are always honest, then it will bring you to al-Birr (ie do all good), and that good will bring you to Heaven which is the peak of desire, as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ

Truly those who are truly devoted are in (heaven full of pleasure). "[Al-Infithâr / 82: 13]

Allah Almighty wa Jalla said:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

O ye who believe, worship Allah, and be with the righteous. " [At-Tawbah / 9: 119]

Allah Almighty Asked His faithful servants to be honest and cling to the truth. The goal is that they are istiqâmah on the path of truth (honest people).

Honest is the commendable nature that is demanded from the believers, both men and women. Allah Almighty wa Jalla said:

وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالصَّادِقَاتِ
"... men and women who are true (honest) ..." [Al-Ahzâb / 33: 35]

"... But if they are right (their faith) against Allah, surely that is better for them. [Muhammad / 47: 21]

Allah Almighty Jalla tells the value of honesty, that honesty is both a good and a savior. That trait determines the value of deeds, because honesty is the spirit. If those people are truly sincere in believing and doing obedience, honesty is undoubtedly the best for them.
