عن أم العلاء قالت: عادني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأنا مريضة, فقال: ابشرى يا أم العلاء, فإن مرض المسلم يذ هب الله به خطاياه كما تذ هب النار خببث الذهب والفضة
"From Umm Al-Ala ', he said:" The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam visited me when I was sick, then he said. Akan Please cheer up Ummu Al-Ala. Indeed, the pain of Muslims makes God eliminate mistakes, like fire that removes gold and silver impurities. [1]
O Ukht Mukminah!
Of course you will face trials in the life of this world. May the trial befall you or your husband or your child or another family member. But that is where your level of faith will appear. God sent down your trials, so that He could test your faith, will you be patient or will you be angry, and are you pleased with Allah's destiny?
This testament before you was conveyed by the Prophet sallallaahu aih alaihi wa sallam when advising Ummu Al-Ala ’Radhiyahuahu anha, while explaining to him that the believer was tested by his Rabb so that he could erase his mistakes and sins.
While you pay attention to the content of the Book of God, you will certainly find that those who can benefit from the verses and take advice from them are those who are patient, as the word of God.
ومن آياته الجوار في البحر كالأعلام إن يشأ يسكن الريح فيظللن رواكد على ظهره إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور
"And, among His signs, are the ships that sail on the sea like the mountains. If He wants, He will calm the wind, so the ships stop at the surface of the sea. Verily in that there are signs (of His) for every person who is patient and much grateful ". [Ash-Shura: 32-33]
You will also find that God praises those who are patient and flattering to them. His word.
وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ
"And, those who are patient in narrowness, suffering and in war, they are the righteous people (their faith), and they are the ones who are devoted". [Al-Baqarah: 177]
You will also know that people who are patient are people who are loved by God, as His word.
وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ
"And, God loves those who are patient". [Ali Imran: 146]
You will also find that God replies to those who are patient with a better reward than their deeds and multiply them countlessly. His word.
وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
"And, verily We will reward those who are patient with rewards better than what they do." [An-Nahl: 96]
نَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
"Surely only those who are patient are rewarded without their limits." [Az-Zumar: 10]
Even you will know that luck on the Day of Judgment and salvation from hell will belong to those who are patient. The Word of God.
وَالْمَلَائِكَة يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن كُلِّ بَابٍ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ
"While the angels entered their places from all the doors, (saying): 'Salamun' alaikum bima shabartum '. Then how good is the place of the end? "[Ar-Ra'd: 23-24]
Right. All of this is a reward for people who are patient in facing trials. Then why not? Whereas the believers are always in good condition?
From Shuhaib Allah be upon him, in fact the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said. "It's amazing about the affairs of believers. Indeed, all his affairs are good. When he gets spaciousness, he is grateful and that is good for him. And, if it is overwrought, then he is patient, and that is good for him ". [2]
You must know that God tests you according to the weight of your faith. If the weight of your faith is heavy, God will give a tougher trial. If there are weaknesses in your religion, then the trials given to you are also lighter. Look at this history.
"From Sa'id bin Abi Waqqash Radhiyallahu anhu, he said. ‘I once asked: O Messenger of Allah, who is the hardest person to test? He answered. Prophets, then elect and elect.
